Three Year Olds

NCCA’s Three Year Old Pre-K classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, either in the morning or afternoon. Times are 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.

  • Academic excellence: Essentials Preschool curriculum, a Bible-based curriculum, is used. Thematic units are taught throughout the year, where pre-reading, phonics, math, science, art, music, movement and drama are integrated. Hands-on activities develop your child’s skills in:
    • Listening
    • Letter recognition
    • Number recognition
    • Counting
    • Beginning sounds
    • Sorting
    • Classifying
    • Problem solving
    • Language development
    • Fine/large motor development
  • Biblical values: In addition to Bible memory, daily Bible stories and their application to young lives are incorporated into instruction through learning centers, crafts, and activities.
  • Registration: Parents can add their child to the fall class list beginning on January 3 of each year. Students entering the program must turn 3 by September 1 and must be potty trained.
