What We Believe

As a nondenominational Christian school, NCCA introduces students to the basic concepts of faith found in Christianity.  Teaching specific denominational doctrine is avoided; rather when a question arises, a child is referred to his/her church for clarification and explanation.

However, the following beliefs are emphasized at the Academy:

  • We confess our belief in the Triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We hold to the belief that in and through Jesus Christ all people may obtain salvation.  We believe through faith in Jesus Christ we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and are transformed into the children of God.
  • We believe that God’s grace and loving redemption are realized in human life by the activity of the Holy Spirit, both in our personal experience and in experiences found in the community of believers.
  • We recognize the authority of the scriptures in matters of faith.  (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • With other believers, we profess there is one universal (catholic) church and that oneness is found in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  Even though the church has many different denominations with distinct doctrines, we are all part of Christ’s universal church.
