It seems that we hear people say something like this every day! God has blessed New Castle Christian Academy with a wonderful, charming, historical building that was the local public elementary school for over 65 years. The Arthur McGill School opened in 1922, was expanded in 1956, and educated countless North Hill students until it closed in 1988. It seems that no matter who is calling this building home, it was meant to house curious minds, precious students and great learning!
NCCA is planning a reunion for those who attended or worked at Arthur McGill! Plans have yet to be finalized, but the reunion is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. November 4, and will feature a DJ and tours of the building. This event will be a fundraiser to help NCCA with upkeep and preservation of the 94 year old structure. If you have old photos, memories or memorabilia of the school that you would like to share, or if you would like to help or would like more information, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
