Four Year Olds

NCCA’s Four Year Old Pre-K classes meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Parents may choose either a half day or extended day program. The half day program meets from 9:00 – 11:30, and the extended day program meets from 9:00 – 2:00 p.m.

  • Academic excellence: Both the A-Beka and Essentials Preschool curriculums are incorporated into daily instruction. Thematic units are taught throughout the year, where pre-reading, phonics, math, science, art, music, foreign language, movement and drama are integrated. Hands-on activities develop your child’s skills in:
    • Listening
    • Letter recognition
    • Number recognition
    • Counting
    • Beginning sounds
    • Sorting
    • Classifying
    • Problem solving
    • Language development
    • Fine/large motor development
  • Biblical values: In addition to Bible memory, daily Bible stories and their application to young lives are incorporated into instruction through learning centers, crafts, and activities.
  • Registration: Parents can add their child to the fall class list beginning on January 3 of each year. Students entering the program must turn 4 by September 1 and must be potty trained..
