Pre-School

NCCA’s pre-school offers several opportunities from which to choose.

First, there is the three year old program.  Three year olds come either morning or afternoon, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Times are 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.

The four year old program has two options.  One is a morning program, 9:00 – 11:30, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  The second choice is an extended day, 9:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Children must be three or four years old by September 1 to participate in either program.

In addition to these classes, we also have a High Fives! program.  This class is for children who will turn five by December 31.  Parents may have academic or maturational concerns and prefer this transitional year before moving their child into kindergarten.  Additionally, High Fives! is perfect for children who are ready for more stimulation and activity, but who may have missed the September 1 cutoff date.

All of the pre-school programs focus on both spiritual and academic instruction.  To foster a Christian atmosphere, teachers and aides use Bible stories, songs, crafts and children memorize scripture verses.  Additionally, the academic curriculum is structured and creative and students are very ready for kindergarten.
