One of my very favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” I live by this verse. God placed me at NCCA this past year.
Teaching has always been my passion. It is such an honor to be able to teach at NCCA where we can pray, read God’s Word and love the children as God calls us to do. There is nothing better than seeing the students open their Bibles and study their lessons. With the smaller class size, I was able to work with the children in small groups and one-on-one. I can encourage them to do their best, to trust God, and to call upon the Lord in prayer. My ministry in the coming years, God willing, is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the children who come here to learn.
I was born and raised in Marysville, Ohio, and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in education. I met my husband in college. He was from New Castle, and this is where we have lived and brought our four children up and we call it home. The Lord has blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others.
