I graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master’s Degree in Education. I taught General Music for 8 1/2 years in the Howland School District before leaving to raise three children. When my children were all in school, I substituted for the music teachers in the Wilmington Area School District. I began teaching music at NCCA in 2003.
What I enjoy most about the music classes at NCCA is the joy and enthusiasm the students exhibit in singing the praise songs. Each year the music classes present a Christmas musical and a Spring musical. Since we have the privilege to sing songs about Jesus, I always choose a musical that teaches about Jesus and challenges us to live more godly lives.
I live in New Wilmington with my husband, Jack. Since graduating college, I have always served as a church musician. I am presently the Music Director at New Covenant EPC in New Castle.
