Floyd Kish

Here at NCCA, I am both the Health & Physical Education teacher and the Computer Instructor. I hold a 5th Degree Black Belt and am Master Instructor and Owner of Taekwondo America Plus. I am certified as a Personal Trainer with the American Fitness Professionals and Associates, and I am also a Fitness Specialist with the National Association of Sports and Physical Education. I was recently inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Taekwondo Instructor of the Year in 2010.

I am active in the community as a teacher, martial artist and most importantly as a Christian. I have previously been Youth Director at two local churches and currently attend Grove City Alliance Church.

In Physical Education class, we blend skills and drills into an enriching, enjoyable sports & recreation model. Classes are taught with Christian music in a caring and nurturing environment. In Computer class, I give special attention to preparing students for this ever-changing world of technology. Our 2011 curriculum will include a cutting edge program called TechnoKids.  Technokids uses Microsoft sotware to offer our students really exciting projects, activities and real world applications.

I teach all my classes with a Christian emphasis on making good decisions, fair play, integrity, and being Christ-centered.
