I currently teach third grade at NCCA and I’ve taught here for 15 years. I started my teaching career as a graduate from Slippery Rock University. Before moving to New Castle in 1979, I taught at two parochial schools in Pittsburgh. My experience also includes preschool, second, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth grades.
I love being a part of the children’s spiritual and educational journeys. I strive to encourage my students to take ownership of their learning. I’m passionate about creating a loving and accepting classroom environment by incorporating Scripture teachings in everyday lessons. I love being able to share what I love best: my love of God. I am committed to serving the uniqueness of each child on their path to academic success, personal excellence, and the exploration of Biblical truths that provide foundations for life.
My husband, Dennis, and I have three children: Caitlin, Colin and Evan.
