Carolyn Hollenbaugh

I have been blessed with teaching fourth grade at NCCA for the past four years. I received my BA in Psychology from Allegheny College and earned my teaching credentials from Edinboro University. Prior to teaching at the Academy, I spent two years in the AmeriCorps program. During my two years of service, I co-taught a kindergarten class and was part of a learning support team for students in grades three through five.

In my classroom, I strive to present standards-based curriculum and content through differentiated instructional techniques. These techniques help me to reach students of all learning styles and academic abilities. As a Christian educator, it is my goal to promote a love of learning that has a truth based in God’s Word. My prayer is to encourage my students not only to seek academic knowledge but more importantly, to always seek the Lord in their lives.
