Barb Sochor

Three weeks before the 2002 school year began, I was literally called to NCCA. I immediately knew it was where I was supposed to be, so I left my job in a sixth grade learning support room at New Wilmington Middle School and answered the call.

Over the years, I have taught nearly all subjects in seventh and eighth grade as well as some in fifth and sixth grade. With the middle school concept I am now blessed to be able to concentrate on exploring God’s order through patterns and numbers in math as well as marvel at His creativity through the exploration of science.

I have a very personal relationship with the Lord and am active in church activities. However, I firmly believe it is just as important to be active in the community, sharing the Christian spirit and upholding Jesus’ teachings
